Mexico, Missouri remembers Dr. Burke

Untitled-copy-7
Dr. Patricia Reinking Burke practiced Pediatrics in Mexico, Missouri from 1993 until 2014 when she returned to Kentucky to be closer to her family. Burke, age 55, passed away on Friday (July 22). Mexico benefitted from Dr. Burke’s talents in many ways. She gave lectures at the Middle School, organized babysitter education courses at the hospital and volunteered at the Children’s Therapy School. She sewed costumes for ballet performances, sang in the choir at church and performed in community theater. She also served many times as camp physician at Camp Barnabas, a Christian camp for kids and teens with life-threatening illnesses or disabilities. Dr. Burke was, most recently, a Pediatrician with Manchester Pediatrics in Manchester.
