Clay County Sheriff Kevin Johnson and deputies cleaned out their evidence locker of the last of the bootlegged beet confiscated in Clay County. No bootlegging charges have been filed since Manchester went “wet”. Judge Joe Asher allowed the beer to be disposed of at the county garage. See a link to more photos at me.claylive.com.

The Manchester City Police are seeking help from the public in an investigation of a break-in at the Clay County Community Pharmacy. The police are currently following up with leads in the case and ask anyone with any information to contact the Police Department.
The break-in occurred on August 23 or 24 at the Pharmacy located in the old Lees Famous Recipe building. An undetermined amount of controlled substance was taken.
