SummerBoost Camp

Save the Children’s signature SummerBoost Camp has been named by the National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) as the winner of the 2017 New York Life Foundation Founder’s Award, joining just three other programs nationwide to win one of the NSLA’s Excellence in Summer Learning Awards this year. A SummerBoost Camp operated out of Manchester Elementary School and in nearly 20 other locations in seven states. Low-income children can fall 2 ½ to 3 years behind their higher-income peers by the fifth grade – in large part due to their lack of access to fun summer learning activities.
