Window World Cares Raises More Than $500,000 During Annual Family Reunion

 Window World Cares, the charitable foundation of the nation’s largest replacement window company, Window World, Inc., raised more than $504,900 to support its work with charitable causes, such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Veterans Airlift Command during the 2011 Window World Family Reunion from July 13-16. Since 2008, Window World Cares has raised more than $2.1 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Wreck Blocks Muddy Gap Traffic

A car accident on Muddy Gap resulted in some injuries Thursday evening, after a car driven by Zachary Mills, of Ice House Road was traveling west, when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a vehicle driven by Charles J. White head on. Both suffered minor injuries and both were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
