On Monday December 21, 2009 David R. Bennett attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a recycling center in Manchester that was to create 1400 jobs. After speeches from local, state and federal officials, Bennett became the first person to receive a key from the newly named “City of Hope”.
Four persons from three states have been named in a federal indictment in relation to the failed Waste Not Technology project. Those four are: David R. Bennett, Daniel R. Goodwin, Sidney A. Tarrant and Izhar H. Syed.
Now that four individuals involved in the Waste Not Technology (WNT) fraud case have been indicted in federal court it is clear that cities and individuals are still suffering from the failed scheme.
