On Monday, Israel Miller 40, of Manchester, was arrested at the Clay County Courthouse where he was to appear in count for an earlier arrest. After Miller removed the contents of his pockets at the security desk and passed through the metal detector an alarm went off.
Clay County is joining the “421-Yard Sale”, stretching over 100 miles along US Highway 421. Judge Joe Asher signed the proclamation Tuesday evening to proclaim the event.

Matthew D. Hensley, 47, of Oneida was arrested on Friday when he walked into the Speedway located on 421 and yelled to everyone in the store to, “Get on the ground. This is a holdup,” according to assistant chief of city police, Patrick Robinson.
