Robert Lee Hibbard has accepted a plea agreement and has pled guilty on Federal charges. Hibbard was arrested December 12, 2012 to Count One of the Indictment.

After the latest pounding of bad weather Superintendent Amon Couch now says that the last day of school will be in the latter part of May. That is, if no more snow days are needed.
On Thursday, Fayette Circuit Judge Pamela Goodwine sentenced Gerardo Turcios Rodriguez to 16 years on the manslaughter charge, plus one year on the tampering charge, with both terms running concurrently for the death of Clay native, Doug Saylor.

Steve Collett, traveling West on Hwy 80, lost control of his Nissan Frontier Tuesday morning when he hit a ditch and struck an embankment on Horse Creek, according to Sheriff’s Deputy Taye Napier.
Collett was flown to University of Kentucky by Air Methods. The severity of the injuries are unknown at press time.
Clay County Sheriff’s Department, Kentucky State police and Horse Creek and Manchester Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
