Gray will replace Murray at Paces Creek

Mr. James Gray was selected to be the new Principal at Paces Creek by the school’s SBDM council. Gray will replace David Murray, who resigned June 30 to become the superintendent of schools in Robertson County.

Sex Offender Goes Back to Grand Jury

A Lifetime Sex Offender will be going back in front of a Clay County Grand Jury in August after a recent preliminary hearing. Glenn Henson age 46 is already a lifetime registered sex offender.

City to Take Action on $133,00 in unpaid Water Bills

Looking at over $133,000 in unpaid water bills the Manchester City Council voted to review its water ordinance at their regular July meeting.  The final tally of unpaid bills (since 2007) could be as high as $200,000.

Paces Creek Principal may be named Friday

The Paces Creek Elementary SBDM Council has called a special meeting for Friday for the purpose of selecting a new Principal according to a special notice from Amon Couch, Clay County School Superintend, who is also serving as the chairman of the council.
