Kentucky Transportation Cabinet highway crews in Manchester continue extensive snow and ice operations today across the county.
The Manchester City Police are now offering Anti Bullying prevention classes at the request of the schools.
Coloring books with an anti-bulling theme and crayons will be given out to the students in lower level grades with the program. The classes will also be offered to all grades that want to participate. Schools are urged to call or contact the Manchester City Police if interested in setting up a class.
Jackson Energy customers will see a $2 per month increase on their electric bills beginning in April as a result of a recent decision by the Kentucky Public Service Commission. The revenue increase is the first for Jackson Energy since 2008. The increase is only in the monthly customer charge and does not affect the kilowatt-hour charge.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. for Nathan Delmas Jackson, 22 of Big Creek after he was killed in an auto accident on Highway 66 near Little Creek. It was the second tragedy in less than a week for Clay County .

Funeral Services for Jasmine Charity Faith Collins, 7, were held Saturday at Rominger Funeral Home. There was a huge crowd on hand to pay their respects to the deceased and the family. Steve May delivered the eulogy. Jasmine was laid to rest Sunday at the Smith-Sizemore family cemetery in Bar Creek.
