Judge Signs Order to Take Clay 8 Property
An order to seize forfeited property from eight people who were sentenced earlier this year for vote fraud was signed by U.S. District Judge Danny Reeves last week.Reeves signed an order of forfeiture for 39 individual items ranging from ATVs, trucks, farm equipment, and miscellaneous items to be sold, according to court documents.

Council Approves Incentive Program
3 to 5 Vote Down Tax Collection OrdinanceThe Manchester City Council passed an incentive program ordinance and voted down an ordinance that would allow the Sheriff to collect city taxes.
The city council voted to approve the City Officials Incentive Program Ordinance, which will allow for incentives to be given to city officials who attend training sessions relating to city government.
City Renames Street Zach Lewis Pass
The Manchester city council made a resolution to allow Circle Lane to be known as Zach Lewis Pass, after discussion at last month’s meeting.Councilman Terry Wilson asked for the council to consider renaming Circle Lane, a Manchester Street, “Zach Lewis Pass”.
