Walmart Applies for Beer Sales

City to See Revenue in November

Alcohol Beverage Control Administrator Patrick Robinson says he has spoken with corporate Walmart and they have applied for their packaged beer license, and they expect their application to be finished by the end of the week.

Walmart advertised it’s intent to sell beer in the Manchester Enterprise this week.

Judge Signs Order to Take Clay 8 Property

An order to seize forfeited property from eight people who were sentenced earlier this year for vote fraud was signed by U.S. District Judge Danny Reeves last week.

Reeves signed an order of forfeiture for 39 individual items ranging from ATVs, trucks, farm equipment, and miscellaneous items to be sold, according to court documents.
