Bowling Set to Tee Off in Kentucky Open

Manchester native Trey Bowling teed off early Tuesday morning in the PowerBilt Kentucky Open hoping for his second Kentucky Open championship.

Bowling, a former Mr. Golf candidate at Clay County High School won the Open title in 2008 as an amateur.

CCHS Lady Tiger volleyball coach Phillip Jones released the schedule for his team's upcoming season as the Lady TIgers take to the hardwood in hopes of capturing a regional title.

Yes, that’s right. Henry Ford bought 60 thousand acres in the Redbird area of Clay and Leslie County for the hardwood to build his automobile wheels from sometime around 1920.
