A special called meeting for the City Council was called to order Monday night. Council members, Dorothy Sizemore, Barbara Jo Colter, John Ed Pennington, Dr. James Rice and Penny Robinson were those calling the meeting. Items on the agenda to be discussed were: Audit, Spending and Hiring.

Bowling Set to Tee Off in Kentucky Open

Manchester native Trey Bowling teed off early Tuesday morning in the PowerBilt Kentucky Open hoping for his second Kentucky Open championship.

Bowling, a former Mr. Golf candidate at Clay County High School won the Open title in 2008 as an amateur.
