All students in the Clay County School District will receive free breakfast and lunch for the next 4 years, was the announcement from Director of School Food Service Bethany Corum at Monday’s School Board meeting.
Window World Cares Raises More Than $500,000 During Annual Family Reunion
Window World Cares, the charitable foundation of the nation’s largest replacement window company, Window World, Inc., raised more than $504,900 to support its work with charitable causes, such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Veterans Airlift Command during the 2011 Window World Family Reunion from July 13-16. Since 2008, Window World Cares has raised more than $2.1 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Wreck Blocks Muddy Gap Traffic
A car accident on Muddy Gap resulted in some injuries Thursday evening, after a car driven by Zachary Mills, of Ice House Road was traveling west, when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a vehicle driven by Charles J. White head on. Both suffered minor injuries and both were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

Constable Caught on Video Crushing, Snorting, Selling Pills
Roberts and Wife Arrested on Federal Charges
Jack "Tire Man" Roberts was arrested last Wednesday on federal gun and drug charges.
A Constable and his wife pleaded not guilty in Federal Court Monday, after they were captured on video crushing and snorting pills, according to court documents.
