2-Year Old Struck By Truck

Kentucky State Police, Clay County Sheriff’s Department and Lockard’s Creek Fire Department were dispatched out Saturday to Barbourville Road (Highway 11), in front of the old Roller Dome, where a truck struck a 2 year-old.

Pennington Faces Rape Charges In Circuit Court

Jeffery Pennington / Crystal Hibbard Case
Jeffery Pennington and Crystal Hibbard will appear in Clay Circuit Court on May 5th to face charges of unlawful transaction with a minor that occurred on July 1st 2012.
Jeffery Pennington is facing rape charges in the 3rd degree.
His accomplice, Crystal Hibbard is facing charges of unlawful transaction with minor under the age of 16, 1st degree; complicity to rape, 3rd degree; and human trafficking with victim under the age of 18.
Pennington is also charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree, 1st offense along with Darrell G. Pennington.
Jeffery and Darrell both face charges from July 20, 2012 where they sold suboxone and on July 24, 2012 selling hydrocodone pills to a confidential informant.
The jury trial is set for May 14th at 9:00 a.m.

Getson C. Roberts
Getson C. Roberts is set to appear in Clay Circuit Court on May 13th at 9:00 a.m. Roberts is facing charges of trafficking a controlled subject in the 1st degree and persistent felony offender in the 1st degree.

Beck Callahan
Beck Callahan appears in Court at the Clay Circuit Court on May 13th at 9:00 a.m.
Callahan was charged with conspiracy to robbery in the 1st degree.
Callahan was an accomplice in a robbery that took place Sunday, February 10th 2013 at Toby’s Grocery near Oneida.
Michael J. Elam, Ohio, was identified as the robber. Elam is charged with robbery in the 1st degree; criminal conspiracy to commit robbery; theft by unlawful taking over $500 and 2 counts of wanton endangerment in the 1st degree. Elam is fleeing and has yet to face sentencing.

Richard S. Marcum
Richard Marcum appears in front of the Clay Circuit Court May 13th at 9:00 a.m.
Marcum is charged with flagrant non-support. From the time period January 1st 2007 until May 31st 2013 Marcum owes $14,587.00.

Joey L. Smith
Joey L. Smith, of Annville, will appear in the Clay Circuit Court May 13th at 9:00 a.m.
Joey is charged with receiving stolen property over $500 dollars and being a persistent felony offender in the 1st degree on December 18th 2012.
In Clay County, December 18, 2012, Smith stole a Bowtec hunting bow and a girls jacket. Smith was charged with burglary of in the 3rd degree; receiving stolen property over $500 dollars; and persistent felony offender in the 2nd degree.
Then, on May 8th, 2013 Smith, along with Ricki J. Smith of McKee and Michael P. Collins of Shepherdsville, broke into a building belonging to Robert Hacker and stole a weed eater,      tiller plow, push mower, four (4) billet rims, and a Husquarna power saw valued at $2,950.00.
