Clay County’s Amazing Racers, Mark Jackson and Bopper Minton, visited the Laurel Creek Health Care Center Friday.
Following up on an anonymous tip, Raleigh Benge of the Marijuana Task Force, along with members of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, seized over 300 marijuana plants last Wednesday, March 14.
The Kentucky House of Representatives has approved it 2012-2014 Biennial Highway Construction Plan, which includes 12 projects for Clay County with a combined priced tag of $61,185,000. However, the money is not there for many of the projects.
Clay County’s unemployment rate jumped by almost two percentage points from December to January, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training.
