An entire community is in mourning after a well-known businessman was laid to rest Sunday. Robert “Bobby” Whitis, age 74, of Burning Springs owned and operated A.L. Whitis Insurance Agency in Manchester for over 50 years.
At a routine traffic stop on Horse Creek, Sunday evening, two subjects on a four-wheeler attempted to elude police officers.
