Baby Clarissa Laid to Rest

Sester Pleads Not Guilty to Manslaughter

Baby Clarissa was laid to rest Monday at the Ball Cemetery on Sextons Creek the same day the man accused in her death pleaded not guilty in court.

A preliminary hearing has been set for November 28 for Bobby Sester, 23, of Oneida, for the charges of second-degree manslaughter and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Clarissa Danielle Burkhart, the 14-month-old daughter of Curtis and Jessica Burkhart, died Thursday after she was run over by a truck driven by Sester.
