Williamsburg - Clay County Tiger baseball Head Coach Jason Smith kicked off his second year as head coach with an 18-8 thrashing over host Williamsburg Tuesday night.
“We hit the ball extremely well for our first game,” said Coach Smith, “We played great.”
Two injured Monday in early morning wreck
Two people were injured early Monday morning when the vehicle they were in struck another car, went off the road and slammed into a tree.
After long delay, school board hears school reports
Following an hour and 25 minute student disciplinary closed session, the Clay County School Board Monday night heard from a student organization, and three school reports.
Schools closed Thursday and Friday
All Clay County schools will be closed this Thursday and Friday, March 7 and 8, because of the Clay County High School Boys Basketball team playing in this year’s Sweet 16 State Tournament in Lexington.
