Tigers Pick Up Much Needed Win Over South Laurel

Manchester – Coach Kenny Roark’s Clay County Tiger football team came up with two redzone stops in the fourth quarter, forcing two South Laurel turnovers in the final quarter en route to a 46-34 win last Friday night at Tiger Stadium.
The win snapped a three-game losing skid for Clay County as Coach Roark picked up his first win as head coach for the Tigers.
Clay County’s 46 points marked their highest scoring mark of the year thus far.

After picking up their first win of the year against South Laurel last week, Coach Kenny Roark’s Clay County Tigers look to keep their momentum going this week against Coach Jim Black’s Whitley County Colonels.
The Colonels have dropped their first three games this season, putting up only 13 points through three games.
