After suffering their worst loss in five years, Coach Kenny Roark’s Clay County Tigers (1-5) won’t be able to lick their wounds for too long, as Coach Wayne Mills’ Bell County Bobcats stroll into Manchester Friday night.

Adding to the mix, the Tigers are now without three offensive starters.

Seniors Zach McGeorge and Zac Kemp are no longer with the team, and junior standout Joey Dezarn was injured during last week’s game against Knox Central.

Lady Tigers Cruise on Senior NIght

Coach Phillip Jones’ Clay County Lady Tigers extended their win streak to three this past week after winning in straight sets over Middlesboro on Senior Night.

Lady Tiger seniors Brittany Bowman, Sydney Combs, and Danielle Hubbard were each honored before the game, as Clay County easily won in their final home game of the year.

Lady Tigers End Season in Region Tourney

Lady Tiger golf team member Lynsie Gregory sinks a putt during the 9th Region Tournament this past week.

The 2011 Clay County Lady Tiger golf season is in the books, following the Lady Tigers’ participation in the 9^th Region Tournament at Burnside State Park in Pulaski County.

Coach Regina Hubbard’s Lady Tiger golf team finished 11^th overall in the regional tournament.
