In the eighth annual Clay County Elementary School Preseason Basketball Tip-Off Tournament, the Hacker Wildcats and Manchester Lady Tigers came out on top during this weekend’s championship games.

It was an exciting two rounds of basketball action this past week as the Clay County Elementary School Preseason Tip-Off Tournament began this past weekend with first round games, with semi-final action taking place Monday and Tuesday night.
The championship games for each the boys and girls tournaments will see Hacker and Manchester playing for the preseason championship.

Hoops fans across the county will get their first fix of Clay County basketball this weekend, as the eighth annual Clay County Elementary School Preseason Tip-Off Tournament will begin Saturday.
In the girls’ tip-off tournament, defending county champions Goose Rock will kick the tournament off by taking on Manchester at 11 AM Saturday.
Hacker faces off against Big Creek at 1:15 PM Saturday, and Burning Springs takes on Paces Creek to conclude first round games at 3:15.
The girls’ tip-off tournament continues Monday with Oneida, receiving a first round bye, will take on the winner of Goose Rock and Manchester at 7.
