The Manchester Enterprise: Local Sports

Battle for Number One

In a battle of four undefeated teams, only two will come out victorious Thursday night, and those two will stand alone at the top of the elementary school basketball rankings.

Both of the teams from Manchester and Hacker, girls and boys, are undefeated on the year with each team posting a 4-0 record thus far.

Hacker will play host to Manchester Thursday night, and action will begin with the girls’ game, scheduled for 5:30.

The Lady Tigers possess the deepest team in the county, and arguably the most solid team in the county from top-to-bottom.

Manchester has had a different leading scorer in every game this season, and is led in scoring by Kaylee Mathis, averaging 11 points per game.
