ProgressiveRx.com to Provide Free Prenatal Vitamins in 20 Poorest Counties

The Bright Start program will offer free prenatal vitamins to pregnant women in 20 counties across 9 states
ProgressiveRx.com today announced Bright Start, a program that will provide free prenatal vitamins to pregnant women in the 20 lowest-income counties in America.

“It’s abundantly clear from the daily news that millions of Americans are going through incredibly hard times right now,” said Hayden Hamilton, founder of ProgressiveRx.com.  “Our goal has always been to help those who can’t afford the medications they need, but given the current economic climate, we wanted to do something more.  We feel that helping pregnant women give their newborns a healthy start in life is the best way to do that.”

Temptations Hosts Re-Grand Opening

temptationsWEB
Members of the London City Council and Chamber of Commerce, Sterling London, Jade Arnett, Keith London, and Jordan Tyree of the Temptations Salon & Boutique’ staff, cut the red ribbon at the salon’s Grand Re-Opening Ceremony last Tuesday.

Temptations Salon & Boutique, located on Keavy Road, hosted it’s re-grand opening ceremony last week, to celebrate it’s first ever expansion.

Temptations, which has been located on Keavy Road for over twelve years, has expanded to incorporate a barber parlor onto the existing salon.

The salon and boutique owner and head hairstylist, Keith London, has been in the hair industry for 19 years, and is excited to be offering brand new services to new and existing clients.

“I felt with the barber school being here in London, this salon would be another place for them to work after they graduated, plus with the current clientele I have, their husbands and sons go to barbers – so it works out pretty cool,” said London.

London said because of the expansion, he has been able to hire three new barbers.

Along with the services previously offered, Temptations is now offering airbrush make-up that lasts up to twenty hours. Also offered are men’s straight razor shaves and latest cuts and razors, spa hydro massage bed, and spa pedicures and manicures.

“I really hope that everyone comes to check us out. Thanks to this expansion, we will be able to cater to a whole new client base, and we look forward to being able to cater to new customers with different needs,” says London.

Temptations is located at 474 Keavy Road. To set up an appointment, call 606-862-9230.
