Wagers Fakes Robbery, Head Injury to Get Out of Work
Deputy David Caldwell and City Police Officer Kelly Johnson escort Adam Wagers to the police cruiser Thursday after he confessed to making up a robbery and assault.
Charges are filed against a man who claimed to have been robbed at gun point early Wednesday morning at Burger King.
The same man is responsible for filing a separate false complaint the next morning, claiming to have been hit over the head by an unknown assailant.

Lucy Davidson 99, of Oneida, passed away Friday at the Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pitman Davidson & 2 children, Pitman Davidson, Jr. & Carrie Goodman. She leaves 2 children, Dora Doyle, Manchester & Annie Hensley, Covington, KY. She also leaves these special friends, Coy & Louise Davidson, 15 grandchildren, several great & great grandchildren & 1 sister, Sylvania Biggs, Frankfort, KY. Funeral services for Lucy Davidson were held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Joey Burns officiating. Burial followed at the Maxaline Baker Cemetery at Oneida.
