Man Passed Out on Doctor's Office Steps

A Manchester man was arrested Thursday after passing out on the steps of a doctor's office.

As my colleagues and I returned to Frankfort on Tuesday, with only eleven legislative days remaining in this year’s session, we diligently used our time to act on numerous pieces of legislation this week in order to leave enough time for the Senate to consider and approve these bills prior to the ten-day veto period.

KHEAA to provide ILPs for home school, private school and adult students

Home school, private school and adult students in Kentucky will soon be able to take advantage of the state’s Individual Learning Plan (ILP) system. Access will be provided by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA), which administers the state’s student financial aid programs.
