Faces 4 Autism had their Bubbles Of Hope Celebration Monday at the Manchester Elementary School. Students participated with not only kids in America but across the world as well. Carmen Reid the Parent Engagement Coordinator, Alenen Stivers the Special Education Teacher and Principal Dwight Harris spearheaded the event to raise awareness for autism.

EKCEP and its Hiring Our Miners Everyday (H.O.M.E.) initiative are putting a half million dollars on the table to create partnerships with Eastern Kentucky employers to bring a total of 100 out-of-work miners into On-the-Job Training (OJT) positions at their businesses before mid-May.

Law officials “crack” plan to sneak drugs into jail
The plan to pick up the drugs, using fellow-inmates on work release, was communicated among Todd Ruth, Middleton, and Cottongim, using a cell phone that was smuggled into the jail inside Ruth’s buttocks, says Officer Jason Combs.
