Final prescription drug abuse symposium to be held in Manchester June 8
Medical professionals have one more opportunity to receive free training on prescription drug abuse and diversion. The forum – which provides information about new state reporting requirements, the importance of understanding addiction, and ideas to help effectively treat pain while reducing the risk for abuse – will be held Saturday, June 8, at the Eastern Kentucky University Center in Manchester. Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. and the program concludes at 3 p.m. Lunch is provided.

In the trial of Rex Sizemore and Billy Henson vs. the Clay County School Board, Judge Oscar Gayle House has dismissed the case.
