$25,847.57 in fire dues collected in less than a month, says Mayor

Mayor George Saylor informed the council that since April 25th-May 20th $25,847.57 had been collected in fire dues. Mayor Saylor said, “In less then a month we have already collected more money on fire dues then we did for the entire 2012 year.” Last year the total was just over  $25,000.00 collected.

Tenhets under home incarceration after posting $500,000 bond each

Magistrate Judge Hanly A. Ingram has granted bond for Charles Terry and Melissa Tenhet. Both were released on secured bonds of $500,000 each.
