Campbell Leads Police on Mile Long Chase

A Manchester man whose identity has not been confirmed is behind bars for fleeing and evading police, and wanton endangerment of a police officer.

According the Clay County Chief Deputy Brian Jackson, the man whose identity is believed to be William “Bill” Campbell, 39, of Manchester, comes from a family of multiple siblings named William Campbell.

“The subject in this case has not been forth coming with his identity, and we’re having to compare finger prints in order to positively identify him as the correct William Campbell,” says Jackson.
