Time to Think About Next Deer Season

Kentucky’s 2010-11 white-tailed deer season ended over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend. Total deer harvest was the lowest statewide since 2001 season but  archers posted two all-time harvest records.

2010-11 Telecheck Deer Harvest Totals

If you look at the 2010-11 Deer Telecheck Deer Harvest Totals my prediction was correct. Only 109,551 deer where killed statewide. The kill was the lowest since 2001 when 103,338 deer were taken.
