They are good people, so when you see somebody you know that needs help, help them if you can. Be a good neighbor.

Here on the farm, we have a lot of animals like turkeys, squirrels, raccoons, groundhogs and a few deer. I like to watch them play. Our friend, Junior Smith, saw a black bear and two cubs the other day over on Whites Branch. I’ve not seen any here in our country, but some people say that every once and awhile, they see some. There used to be a lot of grouse around here, but we’ve not seen any in a while. I wonder what happened to them?

Where are our rights? Seems like we don’t have any. We had another meeting to discuss about keeping the Hima Post Office open for six hours a day, but we don’t matter here in Clay County to the ones in Frankfort. Well, so much for that.
