Carl "Buddy G." Bundy

Carl “Buddy G.” Bundy, age 60, of Horse Creek, passed away Tuesday at his home.

He was a retired miner and a Vietnam Army Veteran.

He is survived by his son; Elmer Bundy of Leslie County and 2 sisters: Lorene Downey and Anna Downey, both of Horse Creek.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer “Plug” Bundy and Mildred “Poodle” Bundy, 1 son and 1 daughter: Terry Glenn Bundy and Jo Ann Bundy, 1 sister: Ruby Bundy and 1 brother: David Bundy.

Funeral services for Carl “Buddy G.” Bundy were held Friday at 3:00 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church with Anthony Lovett officiating. Burial followed at the Goodman Cemetery at Horse Creek.

The Britton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Hardin Bays

Hardin Bays, age 68, of Florence, KY., formerly of Clay County, passed away Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital at Ft. Thomas, KY.

Funeral services for Hardin Bays were held Saturday at 3:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Rusty Woolum officiating. Burial followed at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Robert Baker

Hobert Baker, age 84, of Island Creek, passed away Wednesday at the St. Joseph London Hospital in London, KY.

He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife: Pauline Baker and 2 children: Hobert Baker, Jr. of Burning Springs and Anna Rose Hayes of Benton, KY.

He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Hobert Baker were held Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Reid and Todd Hicks officiating. Burial followed at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation was after 6:00 PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home.

Larry Wendell Hensley

Larry Wendell Hensley, age 43, of Manchester, passed away Sunday morning at his home.

He is survived by his wife: Sherry Hensley and 3 daughters: Kayla Renee Spurlock of Salsbary, NC., Paula Rae Gregory and Lyndsy Carol Hensley, both of Manchester.

He is also survived by 2 grand daughters: Hope Alexia Spurlock and Keyonna Sumner Henson.

He also leaves his mother: Ethel Hensley of Oneida, and the following brothers and sisters: Stanley Gilbert of London, Lonnie Hensley, Billy Joe Hensley and Sheila Bowling, all of Oneida, Gayle Hamilton of Dry Ridge, KY., Linda Garrett of Worthville, KY., and Lisa Henson of Annville, KY.

Funeral services for Larry Hensley will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Truman Murphy, George Roberts and Paul Goode officiating. Burial will follow at the Squire Hensley Cemetery at Oneida.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home.

Lincoln Smith

Lincoln Smith, age 42, of Little Goose, passed away Saturday at the Memorial Hospital as a result of an automobile accident.

He is survived by his wife: Tracy Smith and the following children: Matthew Lincoln Smith, Tristan Combs, Kenyan Combs, Kamall Combs and Whitney Martin, all of Little Goose, Kaylie Smith of London and Kara Smith of Manchester.

He is also survived by his father: Maynard Smith of Garrard and 2 sisters: Rebecca Smallwood and Marcella Smith, both of London.

Funeral services for Lincoln Smith will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Scotty Jewell officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
