Cathy Jo Byrd, 39, OF Island Creek, passed away Tuesday at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. Funeral services for Cathy Jo Boyd were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the voice of one church with Mark Yoakum, Roger Stevens and Lois Smith Officiating. Burial follow at the Henson Cemetery at Billy’s Branch.

Wadie Blevins

Wadie Blevins, 50, of Big Creek, passed away Friday at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Blevins, 1 son, Justin Ryan Blevins, and 1 grandchild.

He is also survived by 1 brother and 1 sister, Donnie Blevins and Lisa Collett, Both of London.

Funeral services for Wadie Blevins were held Tuesday at 12:00 noon at the Big Creek Holiness Church with Sill Lee, Earnest Smith, and Jimmy Smith officiating. Burial followed at the Asher Cemetery at Red Bird.

Visitation was after 5pm Sunday at the church.

Britton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Phil C. Bush

Phil C. Bush, 51, of Lily, KY, formerly of Clay County, passed away Thursday evening.

He was a custodian at the North Laurel High School.

He is survived by the following children: Phillip Jake Bush, Joshua Clay Bush, Mary Elmyra Bush, and Isbella Kate Bush, all of Lily, KY.

He is also survived by 1 grandson, Mason Carter Lockhart, his mother, Lillie B. Bush, Oneida, and these brothers: Ronald Barger and Cornett Bush, Oneida, and sammy Bush, Corbin.

Funeral services for Phil C. Bush will be held Sunday at 2pm at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Arvin Rudolph officiating. Burial will follow at the Cornett Cemetery at Brutus.

Visitation will be after 6pm on Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.

Jerry "Night Hawk" Blevins

Jerry “Night Hawk” Blevins, 55, of Big Creek, passed away Monday.

Funeral services for Jerry “Night Hawk” Blevins were held Saturday at 12:00 noon at the Big Creek Holiness Church with Jerry Holland, Demus Couch and Robert D Bray officiating.

Burial followed at the Blevins Cemetery at Rock House.
