Amanda Davidson, 59, of Crab Orchard, Ky, passed away Friday ~ July 29, 2011 at the Markey Cancer Center at University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. She was born at Oneida, KY the daughter of Dewey Davidson and the late Florence Baker Davidson. Amanda was a member of the Church of God. She enjoyed flower gardening, crafts, sewing and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Florence and one infant sister: Betty. Amanda leaves surviving the following relatives: father; Dewey Davidson & wife Dorothy of Oneida, KY. one son: Ralph Jr. Bowling and Amey of Sizerock, KY, one daughter: Linda Mason and Frank of Crab Orchard, KY, four brothers: Ronnie Davidson and Paula of Carrollton, KY, Dewey Gene Davidson and Kim of Oneida, KY, Bobby Wayne Davidson of Oneida, KY, Luther Davidson and Pat of Stinnett, KY, two sisters: Francis Morgan and Danny of Stinnett, KY, Louise Couch of Oneida, KY, five grandchildren: Brandon, Jacob, Logan, Brittany and Kelly. Also surviving are a host of treasured aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Amanda Mae Davidson will be conducted at 2:00 p.m - Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Brutus Baptist Church located at Oneida, KY with Rev. Charles Woods and Rev. Bobby Couch officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery at Oneida, KY. Friends may call for visitation at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the church. Martha Jones

Martha Jones, Age 103, passed away Wednesday at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services for Martha Jones were Held Saturday at 12:00 Noon at her residence with Sill Lee and Charlie Murphy Officiating.  Burial followed at the Jones Cemetery at Lily.  Visitation was after 5:00 p.m. Friday at her residence.

Sherry Lynn Mosley

Sherry Lynn Mosley, 54, of Elk Creek, passed away Monday at Southport, N.C.
She is a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of highways.
She is survived by her father and step mother, Arthur & Wanda Mosley, Essie, KY., her sister Jo Ann Bowling, Elk Creek and her nephew, Jacob Bowling and wife Rachel.
Funeral services for Sherry Lyn Mosley will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with John Pugh and Billy Ledford officiating.  Burial will follow at the Ledford Cemetery at Elk Creek.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Britton Funeral Home.

Chester Smith

Chester Smith, 46, of London, formerly of Manchester, passed away Monday at Hindman, KY., from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.

Funeral services for Chester Smith will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Tess Lipps & Dean Lawson Officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Eula Webb Howard

Mrs. Eula Webb Howard, age 87 of Manchester, passed away Sunday, July 24th, 2011 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky.  She was born April 3rd, 1924 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of James Lester and Martha Hacker Webb.  She was a homemaker; she worked for the Clay County Board of Education as a manager of food service at the Burning Springs Elementary School, and was a member of the Brown Mission Christian Church.

She is survived by her son: Mike Howard of Manchester, her daughter: Linda Kay Nicholson and her husband: Paul of London, her grandchildren: Melanie Thacker and her husband: Steven, Paul Carl Nicholson and his wife Leslie, John Michael Howard, and Kristy Priscilla Johnson.  Also surviving are these great grandchildren: Kyle James Thacker, Jack Thomas Nicholson, Isabelle Kate Nicholson, Cameron Daniel Johnson, Kelsie Lynn Johnson and Wyatt Marvin Thacker, and these sisters: Beulah Campbell of Manchester, Della Mae Marcum of Manchester, Ella Marcum of Manchester, and Audrey Day of Manchester.

She is preceded in death by her parents: James Lester and Martha Hacker Webb, her brother: Luther Webb, and her husband: Carl Howard.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Eula Webb Howard will be Wednesday, July 27th, 2011 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Wayne House will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Coldiron Cemetery in the Laurel Creek Community.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 26th, after 7 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
