Family of Modeana Keith:

We would like to express our gratitude and say thank you to everyone for their prayers, love and support during the difficult days before and after Mom passed away.  To those that brought food to us and for those who stopped by or called, we appreciate you.  For those that let us know you couldn’t attend for whatever reason, we know you were there in heart and sprit and that you were praying.  Thanks to all who sent flowers or gifts.  Each one is treasured and appreciated.  They were all beautiful.  Many thanks to Bro. David Peters.  You traveled from Benton, TN to be with us and perform the services, an sang a beautiful song.  We love you for it.  Thank you, Cindy and Charlie Rickett, for the huge meal you prepared for the family.  You will never know just how much that meant to us.  Thank you, Romingers Funeral Home, for your support and for the thoughtfulness you have always shown us.  A special thanks to Sister Ruby Campbell, whom we see as an extended member of our family.  Mom loved you like no other.  We know you sent many a prayer up for Mom and for all of us., and you are very near and dear to our hearts.  Also, a special thanks Dr. Kishore and Dr. Irwin, and to the staff of Manchester Memorial Hospital, particularly the ICU staff.  We appreciate each and every one of you.  Mom is home now.  She is at rest.

Martha Rose Hayre Smith

Mrs. Martha Rose Hayre Smith, age 70 of Gregory Branch, passed away Sunday, February 27th, 2011 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky.  She was born April 30th, 1940 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Sebastian and Nancy Holland Hayre.  She was a homemake and a member of the Gregory Branch Holiness Church.  She is survived by her husband: Arthur Smith of Gregory Branch, and these children:  Jimmy Darrell Benge and his wife:  Junetta of Gregory Branch, Vickie Lynn Fultz and her husband:  Jimmy of Gregory Branch, Fred Smith of Corbin, and Ricky Allen Smith and his wife Tina of Gregory Branch.  Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one sister:  Lucy Ferrell of Mill Creek and James Hayre of Little Goose.  Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha Rose Hayre Smith will be Thursday, March 3rd, 2011 at 12 PM at Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Jessie Kemper and Rev. Wilburn Coffey will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2nd, after 6PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Jessie Burns

Jessie Burns, 85, of Second Street, passed away Friday, February 18 at her home.  She was a member of The Manchester Baptist Church.  She was proceeded in death by her husband, James A. Burns & her parents, Joe & Lou Emma Lyttle Reid.  She is survived by her son, James Franklin Burns and wife Shan of Manchester. Graveside Funeral Services for Jessie Burns were held Tuesday, February 22 at 10:00 AM at the Manchester Memorial Gardens with Ken Bolin officiating.

Geneva Murray

Mrs. Geneva Murray, age 95 of Manchester, passed away Sunday, February 20th, 2011 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center.  She was born January 15th, 1916 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of I.J. Howard, Sr. and Margaret Muncy Howard.  She was a homemaker.  She is preceded in death by her parents: I.J. Howard, Sr. and Margaret Howard, her husband:  Orville Murray, her sons: Herbert Clayton Murray, Kermit Murray, and Herman Demarie, her brothers: Herbert “John” Howard, Herman “Snowball” Howard and his wife Sarah, Lucy Howard Gilstrap and her husband Bill, Israel Jenkins “I.J.” Howard, Jr. and his wife Blanche.  Margaret Howard Rainey and her husband Lloyd, and James Bruce Howard and his wife Cleo. She is survived by her daughter: Lois Caudill and her husband Carl of Mechanicsville, Virginia, 2 grandchildren; Myra Adams and Charlotte Jones, and 4 great grandchildren:  Brandon and Cody Adams, and Trey and Tyler Jones, and her sister-in-law:  Marie Howard.  Funeral Services for Mrs. Geneva Muncy will be Wednesday, February 23rd 2011 at 11AM at Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Burt Allen will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery in the Fogertown Community.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 22nd, after 6OM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Elize Ray Wagers

Elize Ray Wagers. 68, Lyttleton, the husband of Barbara Ann Wagers, passed away Monday Morning at his home.  Funeral Services for Elize Ray Wagers will be held 2 PM Wednesday at The Britton Funeral Home Chapel with George Roberts & Lyle Sizemore officiating.  Burial will follow at The Wagers Cemetery at Plank.
