Knuckles Family Expresses Thanks

Knuckles Family Expresses Thanks

December 31, 1923-April 22, 2011

The family of Clinton Knuckles would like to express our appreciation for the kind and caring support we received from family and friends during our loss. Whether it was flowers, a card, prayer, visit or a smile, it was deeply appreciated.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the Manchester Christian Church, St. Ann Catholic Mission, Manchester Baptist Church, and Horse Creek Baptist Church for their thoughts and prayers.

We wish to especially thank Representative Tim Couch and the House of Representatives for the tribute to the memory of Clinton Knuckles; also thanks Mike Baker, County Clerk; James Phillips, Circuit Court Clerk; Rob Dowden and Senator Mitch McConnell and staff for helping locate Clinton’s Honorable Discharge from the Army in World War II.

Many thanks go to the staff of the Britton Funeral Home for their excellent service; Reverend Rolling Bradshaw for his kind and thoughtful eulogy; Pallbearers Nick Dowden, Rob Dowden, Andy Dowden, Johnny M. Edwards, Chester Smith, Mike White, Paul Vickers; Manchester Memorial Hospital and staff; Hazard ARH Medical Center and staff; and the Cumberland Valley Home Health in Manchester.

We thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, visitation, and food. I’m sure Clinton is smiling down on everyone at this very moment. Hopefully his legacy of love, kindness and generosity will live on in us. He was a good husband, father, grandfather, and a great friend.

May God Bless each and every one of you.

Lois, Kay, Rob and Nick
