Christine Sizemore, age 59, of Eubank, KY, formerly of Clay County, passed away Friday at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital at Somerset.
She was a former postmaster at the Garrard Post Office.
She is survived by 2 children: Daugh Sizemore and Trisha Shelton, both of Eubank, KY.
She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Daugh Gregory of Westland, Michigan, Oakley Gregory of Pigeon Roost, Gertrude Lawson and Lillie Mae Hicks, both of Roots Branch.
Funeral services for Christine Sizemore will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Landon McDaniel and George David Blair officiating. Burial will follow at the Minton Cemetery at Bush.
Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home.

Mr. Bill Hollin, age 75 of Manchester, passed away Sunday, November 28th, 2010 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born September 6th, 1935 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Bill and Minnie Jones Hollin.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Bill and Minnie Hollin, his brother, Otis Hollin, and 2 sisters: Francis Sizemore and Bonnie Roberts.
He is survived by one brother, Leonard Hollin of Johnson Branch in Manchester and a host of nieces and nephews including one special nephew, Dean Sizemore.
He is also survived by his chosen family: Doris Lee of Manchester, Sammy Lee and wife Melissa of Berea and their children Poem, Samuel and Micah Lee; and Joe White and wife Beth of Manchester and their children who Bill loved dearly, Joseph and Will White.
Funeral services for Mr. Bill Hollin will be Wednesday, December 1st, 2010 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Crawford Family Cemetery in the Hima Community.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 30th, from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. The Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Alice Williams, age 55 of London, formerly of Manchester, passed away Tuesday, November 16th, 2010 at the home of her daughter. She was a homemaker and a member of the holiness church. She was born April 6th, 1955 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Jimmy B. Smith and Haley Broughton Smith.
She is survived by these children: Haley Brock, Robbie Gail Henson, Thelma Lou Smith, all of Manchester, Sylvia Smith of London, Donnie Smith of Manchester, Wesley Williams and Leslie Williams both of London, and Lance Williams of Manchester. 12 grandchildren survive and these brothers and sisters: Kenneth Smith of Manchester, Rosie Williams of Goose Rock, Cecil Smith of Manchester, Gary Smith of London, Mark Smith of London, Mae Kirk of London, Betty Lou Henson of Manchester, Mary Lou Williams of Manchester, Clara Hoskins of London, Leonard Smith of Manchester, and Andy Smith of Manchester.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Jimmy B. and Haley Smith and 3 sisters: Elvie Williams, Dorothy Smith, Lula Smith, and Mary Etta Smith.
Funeral services for Alice Williams were Friday, November 19th, 2010 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Spicer, Rev. Roscoe Roark and Rev. Willie Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Smith Cemetery in the Granny’s Branch Community.
Visitation was Thursday, November 18th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. The Rominger Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Angela Reid Plichta, age 54 of Bay Pointe Court in Louisville, KY. passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010, at her home from Arteriosclerosis. She was born Saturday, October 6, 1956 in London, Kentucky as the youngest of four siblings to Edith and Vernon Reid of Manchester, KY. She was a member of the Manchester Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Eric Plichta of Louisville, KY. and a daughter and son-in-law: Melanie and Rick Curry, also of Louisville as well as three stepchildren: Jessica Plichta and husband Corey Wilson; Jake Plichta and wife Athena; and Carrie Plichta. She is survived by 3 brothers: Vernon Reid and wife, Jan of Kansas City, Missouri, Robert Reid of Manchester, and Jonathan Reid of Crescent City, Florida. Also surviving are these grandchildren: Tristan Curry of Louisville, KY. and Samantha Roark of Manchester.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Edith Hubbard Reid and Vernon M. Reid.
A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010 at 3 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin 1:30 PM Tuesday at the Rominger Funeral Home. The Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Dora Mathis, age 81 of Burning Springs, passed away Sunday, November 21st, 2010 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born April 11th, 1929 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Taylor and Minnie Bray Sandlin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Morgan Branch Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Jim Mathis and his wife Betty of Burning Springs, Pat Hacker Roof and her husband Don of Hernando, Florida, Lorene Day and Lannie Hacker of London, Kentucky, Rick Mathis and his wife Rosie of Burning Springs, Phil Mathis of Burning Springs, and David Mathis and his wife Connie of Burning Springs. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Taylor and Minnie Sandlin, her husband: Luther Mathis, her sons: Stanley and Ernest Mathis, her daughter: Velma Jean Combs, and her brothers: Fred Sandlin, J.N. Sandlin, Ford Sandlin, William Sandlin, and Della Sandlin.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Clay County Cancer Coalition c/o Sharon Carnahan at the PNC Bank in the Greenbriar Community.
