William George Anderson, age 63 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born September 21, 1949 in Richmond, Indiana to William Earl Anderson and Zona Murphy Anderson Sole.
He is survived by his wife: Judy Deaton Anderson, his children: Michael George Anderson and his wife Lovey and Sonny Earl Anderson, these grandchildren: Alexius Lovey Anderson, Judy Lynn Anderson, Michael George Anderson, and Sonny William Anderson, his great grandson: Chase William Anderson, his mother: Zona Sole of London, Kentucky and these brothers and sisters: Melba Sue Sandlin and her husband L. B. of Manchester, Betty Woodard of California, Portia Cortina of California, Glenna Brown and her husband Jimmy of Tennessee, and Cleo Soulages of Tennessee, his brothers and sisters-in-law: Albert and Bonnie Bishop, Shelby and Brenda Deaton, Bobby and Jewell Deaton, and Jimmy Deaton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. William George Anderson will be on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Shelby Deaton and Rev. Henry Lloyd Deaton will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Deaton Cemetery in the Sacker Community.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Cassie Sears, 60, of Hector, the wife of Thomas Sears, passed away Sunday at the U.K. Medical Center at Lexington.
Funeral services for Cassie Sears were held 11:00 am Friday at the East London Holiness Church with Jerry Holland, Jerry McKinley Holland, Freddie Johnson, Demus Couch and Mitchell Long officiating.
Burial followed at the General Bowling Cemetery at Marcum.
Arnold Lee Gabbard, 71, of Sexton Creek, the husband of Emma Gabbard, passed away Thursday at the St. Joseph-London Hospital at London.
Funeral services for Arnold Lee Gabbard were held Monday at 2:00pm at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Carman Brewer and Freddie McQueen officiating.
Visitation was Sunday evening at the Britton Funeral Home.
Lillie May Thomas, 76, of Marion, Indiana, formerly of Manchester, pass away Tuesday at the Wesleyan Health Care Center at Marion.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard Thomas and these children: Gary Root, Arkansas; Alan Thomas and Julie Thomas Baker, both of Cincinnati, OH; and Bruce Thomas, of Kentucky.
She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and these brothers and sister: James Root and Lois Gray, both of Manchester and Jeff Root, of Ohio.
Funeral services for Lillie May Thomas were held Sunday at 11:00 am at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Bruner and Jason Root officiating. Burial followed at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was Saturday evening at the Britton Funeral Home.
Helen Lunsford, 51, of Burning Springs, passed away Thursday at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, William Lunsford and these children: Delbert McQueen and Dorothy Durham, and 2 step sons, Johnny Lunsford and Bill Lunsford, all of Burning Springs.
She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Ed McQueen, Manchester; Bug McQueen; Beatrice Lewis; Elizabeth Potter and Nay McQueen, all of McKee, KY.
Funeral services for Helen Lunsford will be held 2:00pm Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with J.C. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at the Oscar Hornsby Cemetery at Mill Pond.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.
