Charlie Sizemore, 88, of Big Creek, passes away Sunday at the Easter Kentucky Veterans Center at Hazard.
He is survived by 1 daughter, Karen Begley, London, and the following brothers and sisters: Clayborn Sizemore, Stacey Sizemore, Ethel Britton, and Helen Vanwinkle, all of Hamilton, Ohio.
He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Charlie Sizemore will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Brown Officiating. Burial will follow at the Bowling Cemetery at Big Creek.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home.

Mr. Gilbert Darrell Jarvis, age 59, of Paw Paw Road in Mancester passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at his home. He was an auto parts salesman at CarQuest and a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
He leaves surviving his wife, Julia. Also, surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Hester Parker of Middletown, Ohio; Arnold Jarvis, Arvil Jarvis, Helen White, and Launa Childers all of Manchester; Hallie Salzbrenner of Colorado.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Clay County Cancer Coalition or Gideon’s International.
Funeral Services for Mr. Gilbert Darrell Jarvis were held Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Lovett officiating. Burial followed in Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was Monday, January 17th, after 6 PM at the church.
Rominger Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
