Arnold Lunsford, 71, of Burning Springs, was born January 19th, 1942, passed away Thursday, February 14th, 2013, at his home.
He was a retired teacher at the Clay County Board of Education.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Hunley and husband, Michael, of Manchester, and Lisa Grubb and husband, Johnny, of London.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Jessica Anderson, Amber Collins, Amanda Hunley, Autumn Smith, James Casey Hunley, Adam Grubb, Cameron Hunley, Alexis Collins, and Logan Collins, 7 great grandchildren: Albert Lee Taylor, Brandon Ryan Anderson, Michael Wyatt Dyke, Trevor Collins, Caine Collins, Lyla Mae Smith, and Maelyn Smith, and the following brothers and sister: Donald Lunsford and William Lunsford, both of Manchester, and Florence Reed, of Greensburg, IN.
Funeral services for Arnold Lunsford will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Chris Roberts and Leroy Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Burning Springs.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel.
Bertha Francis Hoskins, age 49, of Big Creek, was born May 25, 1963, passed away Tuesday, February 19th, 2013, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Gary Hoskins, her mother, Ruby Parker, of Manchester, the following brothers and sister: Dean Sizemore, of Fogertown, James Daniel Parker, and Bonnie Gail Parker, both of Manchester, two special nieces, Jessica LaRae Parker Jackson and Cira Lynn Parker Jackson, and her father-in-law, Kash Hoskins.
She is preceded in death by her son, Harold Dean Hoskins, her father, Charles Alfred Parker, her brother, Charles Ray Parker, her grandparents: Dan & Bertha Parker and Matt & Francis Sizemore, and her mother-in-law, Ruby Hoskins.
Funeral services for Bertha Francis Hoskins will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Sill Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Hoskins Cemetery at Double Creek.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home.

General “Spoon” Wagers, Jr., of Goose Rock, was born June 30th, 1934, passed away Friday, February 22nd, 2013, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Erma Jewell Wagers, and the following children: Vincent Wagers, Herman Wagers and wife, Charlene, and Betty Wagers, all of Goose Rock, Linda Velazquez and husband, David, of Huntsville, AL, Mellissa Malloy and husband, Mark, of Cincinnati, OH, and Ruby Jewell Wagers Jarvis, and husband, Raymond, of Richmond.
He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 2 brothers: Troy Wagers and wife, Jean, and Herman Wagers, and wife, Billie Ann, both of Cincinnati, OH.
He is preceded in death by 2 sons: Marty Wagers and Johnny Wagers
Funeral services for General “Spoon” Wagers Jr. will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with R. J. Mathis and Elbert Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Wagers Cemetery at Butterfly Hollow.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home.
Coy L. Bowling, 69, of Oneida passed away Saturday at the St. Joseph London Hospital.
He was a member of the Anti Past Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Josephine, one son Coy Scott Bowling and wife Debra, Hector, and one daughter Tanya Renee Owens and husband Paul, Oneida.
He is also survived by one brother Harvey Bowling and wife Edna, Big Creek, and the following sisters: Janet House and husband Lester, Mt. Vernon, Ola Bowling, Annville, Dorothy Kahny, Roanoke, VA, and Lettie Chinn and husband Darrell, Ft. Walton Beach, FL.
Also surviving are 5 grandchildren: Sean Bowling, Kaitlyn Bowling, Michaela Bowling, Sarah Owens and Ciara Owens.
He is preceded in death by his brother Elmer Bowling and these sisters: Lillian Mullins, Mona Holland and Rhonda Collins.
The funeral service will be 2 PM Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Hacker and Tip Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnny Martin Cemetery at Oneida. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday.
