This is a picture of the beautiful Cumberland Falls taken in the summer of 1951.

Billy Gallaway, an early arrival in Korea, became a beneficial aid to America's Army for his knowledge on all types of machinery.

This 15lb. 28in. carp was caught by Eugene Lewis at the mouth of Island Creek.

In July of 1951, Ray C. Lewis ran for Republican Circuit Judge of the 27 Judicial District (Clay, Laurel, and Jackson County)

In 1951, this was considered to be the oldest pioneer house found on Upper Red Bird.  It was built by a man by the name of Dillian Asher.  It was used as a historical museum to display the old relics of pioneer life and culture.
