Gilbert Named Best of the Bluegrass

Clay County Tiger football senior Tanner Gilbert has been named to the Kentucky All-Star team for the inaugural Kentucky vs. Louisville high school football game to take place this Sunday.

The “Best of the Bluegrass” showdown features the top seniors from all across Kentucky taking on the top seniors from the Louisville area.

The players for each team were selected from nominations of those coaches who are members of the Kentucky Football Coaches Association (KFCA). Only seniors were selected.

The game will be played Sunday at St. Xavier High School in Louisville, with admission being $10.

Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00.
