#11 Lady Tigers Welcome #4 Scott County for Season Opener

Lady Tiger Senior Whitney Belle Jackson applies defensive pressure in the Lady Tigers' preseason victory over Ryle Saturday.

After an impressive win over #15 Ryle to end preseason play last Saturday, Coach James “Ivy” Burchell leads the #11 ranked Clay County Lady Tigers into a regular season showdown against #4 Scott County to open up the regular season Saturday night.

Scott County fell to Mercy in last season’s state championship game, and many expect the Lady Cardinals to possibly find their way back to EA Diddle Arena come March.

The defending 11th region champions, Scott County is picked to be one of the top teams in the state this season, and for good reason.
