Lady Tiger volleyball senior Brittany Bowman makes an overhead return during Thursday night's regional semi-final loss to Corbin.

Log Mountain - With a nice, loud crowd behind them, the Clay County Lady Tiger volleyball team came up one set short of reaching the 13th Region Tournament Championship, falling to Corbin in Thursday’s regional semi-final game at Bell County High School in three sets (25-20, 11-25, 21-25).

The Lady Tigers stormed out the gates against the Lady Redhounds, jumping out to an 11-5 lead following an ace from Katelyn White.

Following a Corbin timeout, the Lady Redhounds closed the gap to within four, 14-10, before Head Coach Phillip Jones called the first timeout for Clay County.
