This was one of the statements the man who has been charged in a fatal wreck on Hal Rogers Parkway made to Kentucky State Police (KSP) Trooper Delzie Kelly, according to his arrest citation.

One man is in jail and another is recovering from two stab wounds as the result of an argument over money. Clay County Sheriff Deputy Michael Havicus arrested Millard Wagers, age 53, of Manchester, the day after the incident.

Honoring Veterans

RONNIE MILLER (left) and NORMAN CORNETT and the Clay County Vietnam Veterans Chapter #868 performed two military funerals this week. The chapter meets at the Horse Creek Holiness Church the second and last Thursday at 6 pm. Membership is open to those who served in Active Duty in one of the US Armed Forces from February 28, 1961 through May 7, 1975. Others can join as an Associate Member. After a month on the road, the Tigers were glad to return home to the friendly confines of Bobby Keith Gymnasium Saturday night. What they weren’t glad about is buzzsaw they encountered on the court.
