Amanda Bretz has never been a head coach, in any sport. The Tiger volleyball assistant got her chance Thursday night and came away with a victory over Knox Central.

The combination of a stingy defense, and a ground and pound running game led to an easy Knox Central win Friday, as the Panthers improved to 4-3 overall, but most importantly, 2-0 in district play, by knocking off struggling Clay County, 50-8.
