A trash cleanup, sponsored by the Red Bird River Watershed Restoration Project, was held on Old Highway 66 at Gilbert’s Creek on Saturday 11-4-16. Approximately 30 volunteers picked up 1,920 pounds of trash on about a mile stretch of the road. After the cleanup, the volunteers were treated to PRIDE t-shirts, lunch and door prizes.
