Pendland takes home first place at NL meet

On Tuesday, April 22nd, the track & field team competed in the North Laurel High School all comers. Below is a recap of the meet, featuring athletes who placed in the top 15 of their respective events.
Field Events:
Sophomore Madison Pendland took home 1st place in the girls high jump competition! 7th grader Ally Woods placed 11th!
8th Grader Gauge England placed 9th in the boys high jump competition. Junior Aiden Carr placed 14th!
Freshman Keeston Lyttle placed 10th in the boys long jump competition. Freshman Weston Bowling placed 14th!
In the girls discus throw, sophomore Carly Fultz placed 6th, and junior Kaylee Hays placed 12th.
In the girls shot put competition, Kaylee Hays placed 2nd! Carly Fultz placed 15th!
In the boys shot put competition, Junior Trent Maiden placed 14th!
Running Events:
The middle school boys 4x800 meter relay team placed 10th! Team members are Matthew Brown, Noah Roberts, John David Lipps, and Patrick Hensley.
In the girls 100 meter dash, Madison Pendland placed 10th! In the boys 100 meter dash, sophomore Keeton Lyttle placed 7th, senior Aiden Reid placed 11th, and junior Aiden Carr placed 13th!
The boys 4x200 meter relay team placed 11th! Team members are Keeston Lyttle, Aiden Carr, Gauge England, and Weston Bowling.
In the girls 1600 meter run, senior Andrea Smith placed 6th! In the boys 1600 meter run, junior Stephen Strickland placed 13th!
The boys 4x100 meter relay team placed 2nd, and broke the school record with a time of 46.30! Team members are Aiden Reid, Trenton Maiden, Aiden Carr and Keeston Lyttle.
In the girls 400 meter dash, Madison Pendland placed 8th. In the boys 400 meter dash, senior Landon Smith placed 11th!
In the girls 800 meter run, Andrea Smith placed 8th. In the boys 800 meter run, Stephen Strickland placed 10th.
In the boys 3200 meter run, 8th grader Patrick Hensley placed 9th.
The girls 4x400 meter relay team placed 6th! Team members are Autumn Jones, Aaliyah Pennington, Madison Pendland, and Andrea Smith.
The boys 4x400 meter relay team placed 6th. Team members are Aiden Reid, Landon Smith, Keeton Lyttle, and Stephen Strickland.
