Baseball,softball district tourney Monday at Clay

(MANCHESTER, Ky.) – With regular seasons coming to a close it can only mean one thing – tournament time! The 2025 49th District Tournaments will be hosted by the Clay County Tigers, and all games will be at Ramsey Ballpark for one last go around. By the time the Tigers host again, they will be playing on the new fields at the CCHS complex. 

On the boy’s side, the Tigers are set to face the North Laurel Jaguars in the opening round on Monday, at 5:30PM. The winner of that game will face Jackson County in the championship on Tuesday, at 5:30PM. Clay County (14-10) lost their lone matchup to North Laurel (16-12) this season, so this will be only the 2nd time they’ve saw each other in 2025. 

On the girl’s side, the Tigers are set to face Jackson County in the opening round on Monday, at 5:30PM. The winner of that game will face North Laurel in the championship on Tuesday, at 5:30PM. Clay County (10-11) lost their lone matchup to Jackson County (15-13) this season, so this will also be only the 2nd time they’ve saw each other in 2025.
